How it works

The project follows the following scheme:

• 1.Volunteer’s engagement
• Shipment of the sampling tubes to volunteers
• Recovery of the water samples and their filtration in the laboratory
• Shipment of samples to the University of Naples "Federico II" Department of Chemistry and DiSTAR for microfiber and microplastic analysis including analysis of sandy sediment samples from the shoreline and berm
